Defined vision and strategy for care plans, a net new initiative to improve clinical outcomes by helping members set and achieve health goals with their care team. Collaborated with clinical working team, back end engineers, and executives throughout discovery, design, and testing to scope the MVP and adhere to FHIR standards. Feature is currently in development.
Supported implementation and designed enhancements to web version of our provider platform, making patient health data more accessible and thereby improving quality of care. Increased provider engagement with health records by 48% and overall web usage by 22%.
Redesigned employer landing pages and key parts of the enrollment funnel to clarify our value prop to potential members across responsive web, iOS, and Android. Increased account creation by 14% and successful activation by 12%.
Established and led weekly product design team critiques to promote a culture of sharing.
Supported and advocated for design team through interim period of 7 months without an executive leader. Managed team processes, mentored junior designers, and led hiring and onboarding efforts (including 2 IC designers and Head of Design).
Created Maven Tech Blog and wrote first 2 articles. Worked with engineering managers, ICs, and content team to establish a process for engineers to contribute articles.
Led D&I volunteering group to mentor NYC youth through Avenues for Justice and budding engineers from underrepresented backgrounds through Pursuit (over 180 hours in 2020).

Designed a multilingual tablet app from end-to-end for patients and caregivers to report health issues, securing our first partnership in the new business model
Designed tablet app style guide in line with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and worked with engineering to standardize components for more efficient development
Conducted generative research with caregivers to create personas and journey maps—used company-wide to build shared understanding and guide product/program development
Digitized nursing assessment for portable tablet entry, capturing digital signatures and outputting documentation for compliance/DOH regulations while establishing a patient's baseline of health. Reduced task completion time by 1 hour, eliminated transcription errors and audit risk.
